Singapore trip

After the trip in malacca and johore bahru, i went to singapore and stayed at kiat's place. The place i stayed are called Redhill. The place i will be staying starting next month.

Malacca trip

On August, i had a chance to visit Malacca, thanks to kiat and his family. It was over all a tiring but interesting trip that i had. Tiring in the sense that we had spend most of the time waiting for the bus to Malacca in JB (as we arrived senai airport (JB) in the late afternoon). The worst part is that all the ticket to Malacca happened to be sold out, so we had to wait for three whole hours for the last bus to Malacca.
Despite of all the wasted time, we arrived at Malacca late at night, but we were lucky enough that we book the hotel earlier on-line. The hotel we were staying were " The Baba House". It was a nice hotel indeed with reasonable price and nice view of the heritage of baba and nyonya.

I had never seen a "real" water well in my life but i've got a chance to see it in baba house. The picture shown below are water well found in the hotel.


The most awesome part is the washing basin, which is made of by antique bowl.

Done with the hotel part, let me show u the view in Malacca.





Both the pictures shown above are not a shop, but it is the front view of a normal house in Malacca, unique isn't it?. With the writing on the door..a total antique feel..


Jonker walk or also known as jonker street..Too bad that i only manage to capture it on daylight, this place looks nicer at night.

Even though we only stay there for 1 night, it was still a nice and memorable trip! I would probably pay another visit to Malacca if I've got a chance in future.

JK memories

I had decided to write a blog on the interesting people i had meet during my working period in JK Bersatu ( an engineer consultant firm in kuching). The pictures shown below are all the fun times we all had together..
